Idida Rodriguez and N.J.'s Connected Lobbyists.

May 24, 2010 at 6:50 P.M. Is it true that a "Mafia Task Force" has been set up by the U.S. Attorney's Office/F.B.I. in New Jersey with "enhanced resources" to cope with the political protection for the mob in the Garden State? Keep an eye on Rabner.

April 30, 2010 at 6:29 P.M. Interference with my security system once again makes it impossible to update my protection. I am running a second complete scan of my computer today. I expect the computer warfare to continue, mostly because corruption permits American state governments to facilitate this censorship effort. Paralysis and corruption in government makes dealing with this cybercrime difficult. ("How Censorship Works in America" and "Is Senator Bob 'For' Human Rights?")

April 30, 2010 at 9:10 A.M. Hackensack Police Chief, Ken Zisa, has been asked to surrender himself to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office (no problem) in connection with allegations of insurance fraud or maybe more allegations of criminal conduct, like obstruction of justice.

Not much will happen to Mr. Zisa at the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office. Bergen County was described to me by lawyers all over New Jersey as the biggest clubhouse in the legal system. I will be only too happy to name lawyers, including some who are now judges, who expressed this opinion and much worse about that mafia turf.

Only one inserted "error" overnight is not too bad. Keep it up, fellas. Rumors of additional forthcoming arrests in north Jersey cannot be confirmed at this time.

Monsy Alvarado, "Cop Chief Charged With Fraud: Sources Say Case Stems From Report on Girlfriend's Crash," in The Record, April 30, 2010, at p. A1. (Alleged connections to the Gambino crime family are, presumably, denied by Mr. Zisa, who is rumored to be a "friend" of Senator Menendez.) Diana Lisa Riccioli?

April 29, 2010 at 9:17 A.M. In addition to obstructions of my access to my blogs yesterday, I have just encountered an attempted alteration of my profile to delete even the understated number of hits. Images are still blocked. Spacing was affected in my draft of this essay. Other obstacles must be overcome. My estimate is that, at least, 50,000 or more hits have been received at these blogs.

Marcy Gordon & Tom Raum, "Senate Assails Bank's 'Greed': Goldman Execs Defend Tactics," in The Record, April 28, 2010, at p. A1. (These men have a future in New Jersey politics or the mafia -- redundancy?)
Brian T. Murray, "New Jersey's Air Quality a Low Point of Nationwide Report," in The Record, April 28, 2010, at p. A-3. (Putrid air seems to hover over Senate building and Supreme Court chambers in Trenton. Ms. Rodriguez?)
Mike Frassinelli, "Inspecting Vehicles for Defects May End: Officials See Savings of $12 Million for the State," in The Record, April 28, 2010, at p. A-4. (You can still buy a valid sticker for your car for about $200.00)
Matt Friedman, "Sarlo Sees 'Retaliation' at Hospital," in The Record, April 28, 2010, at p. A-4. (Protester at closing of corrupt hospital for mentally ill patients that served as an alleged "rape center" was terminated. See "A Killing in New Jersey's House of Healing.")
Bob Horowitz, "Deliberations Begin in Child Sex Case," in The Star Ledger, April 28, 2010, at p. 15. (Another glimpse at New Jersey's rampant child-abuse, -porn, and -prostitution culture, often "relations" exist between teachers and very young students. How are the legal troubles, Mr. Prado?)
James Ahearn, "For Lobbyists, Many New Jersey Benefits," in The Record, April 28, 2010, at p. A-13. (Slimy political and judicial whores again, like Joel T. Leyner or Deborah T. Poritz.)

"I have been writing about New Jersey and its state government, on and off, for half a century, but it was not until Sunday that I fully grapsed a key fact:"

James Ahearn writes in The Record:

"The lobbyists are on the take."

"They do not just throng the halls of the State House when the Legislature is in session, seeking to influence votes on pending bills. No, many of them are also being paid by the state for part-time work."

"This work, which usually has nothing to do with lobbyist's key legislative concerns, paid as little as $1,500 a year until two years ago. But it entitled the recipient to generous health and pension benefits." (emphasis added)

Mind you, pension funds are endangered for cops, firefighters and teachers while these political leeches are sucking the blood out of the system. ("New Jersey is $46 BILLION 'Short' in Pension Funds.")

"In 2008, the pay threshold was raised to $7,500, in legislation signed by Gov. Jon Corzine." -- Give our regards to Carla, Jon! -- "But it entitled the recipient to generous health and pension benefits."

Let us take the case of the, allegedly, much-vilified and detested "Idida Rodriguez." Is this person a lesbian Cubanaza? I "have reason to believe" that Ms. Rodriguez is also a bosom friend of Senator Bob ("I love cranberries!") Menendez. Does Ms. Rodriguez know "Lourdes Santiago, Esq."? Nydia Hernandez, Esq.? Anne Milgram, Esq.? Who can say? I wouldn't be surprised.

Plastic covers for the furniture and a little glass of water with an apple in the apartment, right, Idida? Santeria? Have you "made" your Santo, Idida? Have a cigar. Don't forget to wear white.

"During the McGreevey administration [need I say more?] she was part of a team that won a $1.5 MILLION public relations contract with the troubled schools construction corporation." ("Cement is Gold" and "Da Jersey Code" then "New Jersey is the Home of the Living Dead.")

I wonder how "Idida" shows her appreciation to BobbyM? Do you make a little flan, Idida? Do you bring "friends" to meet the "Great Man" from Union City?

"[Ms. Rodriguez] also served in Corzine's election campaigns for U.S. senator and governor."

Take the contents of that bag over to the office, Ms. Rodriguez. You do the dirty work, Idida? I wonder whether Idida has visited my sites or can explain the "shenanigans" at these blogs?

Perhaps we will find out soon. As one of the Cubanoids from Weehawken once said to me: "We will talk about!" How true.

"Now she works for a lobbying firm, 1868 Public Affairs, as well as managing her own firm, Irodz Associates, earning in all [at least on her tax returns] $84,288 last year." ("Senator Bob, the Babe, and the Big Bucks" and "Does Senator Menendez Have Mafia Friends?")

Is Idida a friend of Mary Anne Kricko? Gilberto Garcia? Still "on the public tit," Idida? Another sleazy New Jersey lawyer? How much of this was public money "earned" by Ms. Rodriguez, the Jersey lobbyist? Are you, Ms. Rodriguez, a "friend" of Jim ("You-Gotta-Pay-to-Play") McGreevey? Albio Sires? Zulima Farber, Esq.?

"Clients of 1868 Public Affairs include Bally, Scherring, Sharp and Wal-Mart Stores. [I wonder if Idida Rodriguez "knows" in the Biblical sense Nydia Hernandez, Esq.? Anne Milgram, Esq.?] In addition she has two part-time PUBLIC jobs, paying $8,500 from the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission" -- very appropriate! -- "and $12,000 from the Local Finance Board, which also includes Fox. You wonder how she finds time for all her" ... 'responsibilities.' ... "

I wonder whether Idida has attempted to debate me on philosophical issues? Were you at "The Philosophy Cafe," Ms. Rodriguez? If so, at whose request did you visit that site? You are welcome to debate me any time. Jersey tomato? Or Florida orange? Disbarment proceedings may be arriving soon for Idida? ("Law and Ethics in the Soprano State" and "New Jersey's 'Ethical' Legal System.")

May 1, 2010 at 10:07 P.M. Attempts to make use of my pay-per-view service resulted in a notice "Error 101" and the inability to use this service. I am sure this is only a coincidence. Continuing developments in the Hackensack Police Department, including appointment of Menendez man, Tomas Padilla, to the Chief's position is being monitored. La Bolita?

I can only hope that these developments are unrelated to my computer troubles and sudden difficulties with my television signal. Evidently, Assistant Chief Frank Zisa has "retired," other resignations may be in the works. Further -- possibly unrelated -- arrests are also in the works, or so they say. The Bergen County Prosecutor's office is "supervising" the Hackensack Police Department. F.B.I. interest in the matter is unconfirmed, but the feds may be "supervising" the Bergen County prosecutors.

I understand that at least one Hudson County police department is under intense scrutiny these days. I would not rely either on county prosecutors or the state police in such matters.

"Lay Off the Lobbyists: Towns Shouldn't Be Paying to Influence State," (Editorial) in The Star Ledger, April 30, 2010, at p. 10.

"Every time a lobbyist was sent by a municipality to persuade state Sen. Loretta Weinberg (D-Bergen) to wring more money from the state budget for that town, she wondered why the mayor didn't just pick up the phone."

If the mayor used a lobbyist -- especially an expensive one -- he or she might well expect that lobbyist to show "appreciation" for the hefty fees being paid by a town's officials for that service. The word "kickback" is not exactly unknown to New Jersey politicians.

" ... 'Why do they need a middle man?' Weinberg says. 'Municipalities are our most important clients. Towns don't need a lobbyist to come to my office. I can't remember a single time when I thought they were getting their money's worth.' ..."

I bet the politicians were happy. Loretta, you've got a great country music name.

"So then, what do lobbyists do to earn their pay?"

"Says Weinberg: 'I have no idea.' ..."

A likely story, Loretta. After leaving office, chances are that Loretta will get into the wonderful world of lobbying because she has an excellent idea of what lobbyists do and why they do their "thing."

"I was born a coal miner's daughter" -- Loretta sang, wistfully. But Loretta will retire a rich lobbyist, just like the other ex-politicians.

" ... According to reports filed with the Election Law Enforcement Commission, public bodies spent more than $2.1 MILLION on hired guns in 2009."

Idida Rodriguez, just how well do you know "Big Pappa" Menendez? Do you "kickback" to Bobby so he can send you some business, Idida? ("Senator Bob, the Babe, and the Big Bucks.")

"Municipal lobbying should be outlawed. It's a silly idea, really."

Senator Bob thinks lobbying has its merits. Right, Bobby? How's Ms. LiCausi and the whole Xanadu embroglio? Who has the canolis? ("Does Senator Menendez Have Mafia Friends?")

Are you getting a whiff of New Jersey's political rot?
