More Corruption and Theft in Hudson County, New Jersey.

January 12, 2010 at 10:44 A.M. "Errors" inserted since my previous review have been corrected. The cyberwarfare continues as a message from Trenton that politicos "don't care about nothing." New Jersey's CULTURE OF CORRUPTION has been undisturbed by Ms. Milgram as Attorney General in the most mafia-controlled jurisdiction in America.

Sam Dillon, "College is Beset by Accusations in New Jersey," in The New York Times, December 22, 2009, at p. A1. (Stevens Institute has serious financial "engineering" problems.)
"The Stevens Scandal," (Editorial) in The New York Times, December 28, 2009, at p. A26. (Concerns that N.J. politics and legal corruption may obstruct this "lawsuit." Is the Verizon-Equinix scandal next?)

Anne Milgram is on her way out as Attorney General in New Jersey. Governor-elect Chris Christie has made it clear that Anne Milgram will not be his Attorney General. Wise decision, Chris. Hence, Anne is searching for a position as a pastry chef. Try the Plaza, Anne.

As she exists the stage, Ms. Milgram wishes to cover-up the incompetence and failures of her office with the semblance of some quasi-achievement. Rather than go after the corrupt power-structure in Hudson County, especially Boss Bob and the Xanadu fiasco, where $2 BILLION disappeared, she has opted to file a civil suit -- no criminal charges, yet -- against some well-known local "academics."

" ... charges are swirling over Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. The state attorney general has sued the institute and its president, Harold J. Raveche, accusing him of plundering the endowment and receiving $1.8 MILLION in illegal low interest loans for vacation homes with half of them later forgiven."

Do you think that this sort of scam takes place at an institution receiving public support without a little something for the local politicians? I don't. How much was Senator Bob getting, if anything? "We don't know from nothing." ("Does Senator Menendez Have Mafia Friends?")

How much of the cash paid under the table at the local DMV gets back to Bob Menendez and the boys in North Bergen, if anything? 40-50%?

"The institute's trustees tripled Dr. Raveche's salary over a decade, to $1.1 MILLION last year, higher than presidential salaries at Harvard, MIT and Princeton, and, the lawsuit says, Stevens used multiple sets of books to hide its deteriorating financial condition."

Sounds like North Bergen. How much was coming back to Bob and Albio? Did you have to take care of Hudson Prosecutor Ed De Fazio? Probably. What's De Fazio's "fee"? 5-10 bills for "no indictment," allegedly? Lt. Andriani is a police officer in Hoboken, I believe. ("New Jersey's KKK Police Scandal.") The U.S. President earns about $500,000 per year.

"The board [at Stevens] is politically powerful," according to the Times, "and some faculty members and alumni worry that it will use its connections [to Senator Bob and the Democrat machine] to stall the suit once the current attorney general , Anne Milgram, [who will do anything for a pretty young woman, just like Debbie Poritz,] gives way to her successor after the new governor is sworn in next month." ("Deborah T. Poritz and Conduct Unbecoming to the Judiciary in New Jersey" and soon: "Debbie Poritz Likes the Ladies!")

New Jersey's shit hole of political and legal corruption just filled up again. This may be a good time for more cybercrime and inserted "errors," Anne. Is this belated and inadequate action one indication of how Ms. Milgram has discharged her oversight responsibility concerning these institutions and expenditures of public funds? Milgram has failed to discharge that important responsibility for years. This "lawsuit" is too little, too late. Shame on you, Anne.

This is an excellent time for more "error" insertions. How about another attack against my security system? New Jersey is $32 BILLION in debt and skipping out on creditors who will not be paid? $8 BILLION deficit? Who wants to talk to me about "ethics"? Senator Bob? (Bring Gloria and Kay, Bob.) Stuart? (How's Prisco?)
Ms. Milgram is a disgrace to her befouled office. Back to the "lesbian love-fest," Anne. ("Another Mafia Sweep in New Jersey and Anne Milgram is Clueless.") Hey, how about altering the spacing of paragraphs in this essay?

Good old Tom Oliveri, the presiding judge in the matter -- whom I knew as a trial lawyer, while sharing many interesting "chats" about local events and personalities in the courthouse cafeteria, and as a judge before whom I appeared often, even trying matters before him, both with successful dispositions and less favorable outcomes -- is a Hudson County "regular guy" who will not allow things to get out of hand for the boys. On the plus side, Oliveri will allow defense counsel to do their acts. The summary on Oliveri was: "He knows his way around the county." This is high praise indeed.

Patricia Costello -- who may still be around as a Superior Court judge (Appellate Division?) -- was better on the bench, probably not as good as a trial lawyer. Ms. Costello was a world-level expert in English literature. I will always recall our conversations on cultural issues. "Mr. and Mrs. Judge," we called them.

The bad guys have nothing to worry about in New Jersey, especially in Hudson County. America's "feces-covered" courts and judges are in New Jersey, folks. Keep it coming, boys.
