New Jersey's Tech Darlings Indicted.

June 25, 2011 at 11:35 A.M. Several essays were sabotaged and altered as to their content and spacing of paragraphs. I will make necessary repairs over the next days and weeks. The goal of these tactics is not only to prevent new posts detailing New Jersey's governmental criminality, but to maximize the harm to me. (Damaged texts: "Metaphor is Mystery," "Fidel Castro's 'History Will Absolve Me,'" "S.L. Hurley On Beliefs and Reasons for Action.")

June 22, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. "Errors" inserted since this morning will now be corrected. More attacks on these blogs are always expected. No images can be posted and spacing is altered in all new writings as a result of vandalism. ("How censorship works in America" and "What is it like to be censored in America?")
Hugh R. Morley, "Tech Darlings Indicted: Wayne Couple Charged in Massive Fraud Scheme," in The New York Times, June 21, 2011, at p. A1. (Wayne, N.J. couple scams millions.)
Peter J. Sampson, "Star Witness Missing From Ex-Mayor's Bribery Trial: Dwek Arrested in Maryland as Elwell Testimony Begins," in The Record, June 21, 2011, at p. A-1. (Solomon Dwek arrested, possibly at behest of political friends of the previously indicted in New Jersey; Secaucus Mayor Dennis Elwell on trial for corruption and fraud. Is Elwell a friend of Alex Booth, Esq.?)
David W. Chen & William K. Rashbaum, "Payroll Effort Was Riddled With Fraud, U.S. Says," in The New York Times, June 21, 2011, at p. A21. ("Nearly all of the $600 MILLION that New York has paid to the" -- New Jersey-based contractor with political friends, like Bob Menendez -- "has been tainted by fraud.")
Michael Powell, "In New Jersey, 'Shared Sacrifice' For Public Workers, Not the Rich," in The New York Times, June 21, 2011, at p. A21. (Anger at Mr. Sweeney and Mr. Christie expressed by public workers complaining about a "sell out" of blue collar roots by both politicians to rescue the nearly bankrupt state pension system.)
Richard Perez-Pena, "In New Jersey, Bill Advances on Public Workers' 'Benefits'," in The New York Times, June 21, 2011, at p. A25. (More public workers "screwed out" of benefits, as it were, by Mr. Sweeney's alleged "betrayal of his labor union origins" and Mr. Christie's national presidential campaign.)
New York's taxpayers are the latest victims of New Jersey's out-of-control organized crime-dominated government and culture. A Wayne, New Jersey information technology business is charged with various scams or frauds amounting to $600 MILLION or more.
The politically-connected "couple" with alleged ties to Bob Menendez and other powerful politicians "REDDY" and "PADMA ALLEN" are the founders and principals of TECHNODYNE, LL.C., who allegedly, "paid $14 MILLION in kickbacks [bribes, perhaps?] in a scheme in which the IT services company got contracts totalling $464 MILLION, an indictment unsealed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan said."
I will do my best to attend some of these proceedings in New York. Perhaps I will report on legal arguments in these matters at this blog.
"The company, REDDY ALLEN, 46, and PADMA ALLEN, 43, of Wayne, [N.J.] face 26 charges[,] up to 20 years in prison[,] and a fine of up to $250,000, or twice the value of the laundered funds. The couple have fled to India, however, and the company no longer exists."
This little episode in tri-state history reminds me of the notorious Garcias of Hudson County. There are new allegations this week of money laundering as well as tax scams in North Jersey. ("Senator Bob, the Babe, and the Big Bucks" and "New Jersey is the Home of the Living Dead" then "Is Union City, New Jersey Meyer Lansky's Whore House?")
The two scam artists were Democrat darlings who made many contributions, allegedly, to local bosses in exchange for free advertising and expressed concern for "civil rights." ("Law and Ethics in the Soprano State" and "Does Senator Menendez Have Mafia Friends?" then "Corrupt Law Firms, Senator Bob, and New Jersey Ethics.")
The U.S. Attorney in Manhattan charged in a new indictment that this New Jersey company, "The City/Time project was corrupted to its core by one of the largest and most brazen frauds ever committed AGAINST THE CITY OF NEW YORK," Mr. Bharara said at a news conference.
Lately, the IRS has made similar claims about "others" in New Jersey. ("Does Senator Menendez Have Mafia Friends?")
Mr. Bharara and Rose Gill Hearn, the Commissioner of the city's Department of Investigation signalled a non-N.J.-like level of cooperation in un-political law enforcement efforts against fraud that are unheard of in the Garden State. ("New Jersey's Politically Connected Lawyers On the Tit" and "Jennifer Velez is a Dyke Magnet!" then "Stuart Rabner and Conduct Unbecoming to the Judiciary in New Jersey.")
Phone calls on behalf of the indicted "insiders" from New Jersey by Mr. Prisco's friend Stuart Rabner, Mr. Codey, Mr. Sweeney or Ms. Guardagno are unlikely to result in dismissal of the federal charges. ("No More Cover-Ups and Lies Chief Justice Rabner!" and "Helen Hoens and Conduct Unbecoming to the Judiciary in New Jersey.")
A list of sources concerning more allegations of corruption, bribery, unethical conduct among judges and other lawyers in New Jersey will be posted soon.
New York indicts, convicts, and sends to prison persons stealing public funds through fraud in a charming, if somewhat old fashioned way. Who knew?

This double-dipping used to be called "theft.")

All of the above, perhaps.)

Also, was this man "supplying" young ladies to local politicians, Senator Bob? What did they do to you, Marilyn?)
"As the PVSC Turns: Agency Soap Opera Continues," (Editorial) in The Record, June 22, 2011, at p. A-10. (Joe Ferreiro, former Chairman of the Democratic Party in New Jersey and Bergen County official as well as member of the county legal ethics committee, disbarred attorney, and felon gets health insurance, FREE, from the public agency he disgraced after going to prison. Most state workers will lose or see a reduction in their benefits, perhaps because -- unlike Mr. Ferreiro -- they have not gone to prison for the "family." Stewart Rabner may appoint Mr. Ferreiro to a vacancy on the New Jersey Supreme Court. This is an example of New Jersey's legal "ethics.")
