New Jersey Being New Jersey.

Jean Reimbach, "MVC Beefs Up Security Efforts," in The Record, March 21, 2011, at p. A-1.
"An MVC clerk in East Orange was part of an alleged scheme to sell a genuine state [driver's] license for $5,000. In Lodi, an employee and fellow conspirator allegedly split $6,000. In Atlantic City, an undercover officer bought one for $7,800."
Usually, such documents can be purchased most safely by way of corrupt mafia lawyers and judges in the Garden State. Typically, such persons serve on the New Jersey Bar Association's Ethics Committee. Allegedly, much depends on who is asking for the driver's license issued in a fake name. For example, I am sure that corrupt politicians can obtain such documents for much less than the standard price available on the street. I wonder what Bob Menendez thinks about all this? These are no doubt the same persons responsible for the computer crimes committed against me on a daily basis. ("Senator Bob, the Babe, and the Big Bucks.")
"In some ways, the steep price of an authentic license -- and soon to be unveiled upgrade -- is tougher to obtain and to counterfit. [A passable counterfit is still available for under $1,000.] In addition, tighter security and tougher penalties have increased risks for lawbreakers."
There are no risks for protected criminals in New Jersey's legal sewer. ("Does Senator Menendez Have Mafia Friends?" and "Stuart Rabner and Conduct Unbecoming to the Judiciary in New Jersey" and "New Jersey's Feces-Covered Supreme Court.")
The trick, I am told by street people, is to get a valid birth certificate ($500.00) and passport based on it -- both are cheaper than a N.J. driver's license -- then get a valid license on the basis of these original documents. This is not information that I can verify, of course, since I am a law-abiding citizen. This law-abiding quality makes me "unethical" in New Jersey. ("New Jersey's 'Ethical' Legal System.")
"... 'It's a constant battle but, yes it is -- the temptation is out there at $6,000 per transaction ...,' said MVC Chief Administrator Raymond R. Martinez. [What's your price, Raymond?] 'But we do believe that the overwhelming majority of our employees are good, honest, hadworking people.' ..."
I am told that Mr. Garcia, who is a candidate to head the new FBI is the "Cubanazos' man." Any truth to this rumor, Ilianita? ("Cubanazos Pose a Threat to National Security.")
I can neither confirm nor deny rumors that Diana Lisa Riccioli was injured in an altercation in New Jersey/New York. Violence never solved anything. If true, I can only hope that Ms. Riccioli will recover and that we will all meet in court, SOON. ("An Open Letter to My Torturers in New Jersey, Terry Tuchin and Diana Lisa Riccioli.")
"No Laughing Matter: Innovative Abuse of Taxpayer Money," (Editorial) in The Record, March 21, 2011, at p. A-13.
" ... Louis Cuccinello, who resigned earlier this month after having missed 10 of 13 commission meetings. The 92-year-old, who was reappointed two years ago, resides in a nursing home and attributed his resignation to ongoing health issues."
Mr. Cuccinello is expected to continue to draw his salary after his death. ("New Jersey is the Home of the Living Dead.")
"Then came Albert Manzo and Michael T. Cricco who were suspended by the governor last week."
"Christie charged that Manzo lied in order to secure his appointment by claiming to live in Paterson." He lied which is always so "unethical." ("On Bullshit" and "Senator Bob Says -- 'Xanadu and You Are Perfect Together!'")
"There is 'independent evidence' that he does not [live in Paterson] -- courtesy of Bravo cable network, which has featured Manzo and his family in their spacious Franklyn Lakes home in that crass ode to conspicuous consumption, 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey.' ..."
"Manzo listed his primary address as a Paterson apartment above the Brownstone catering hall that he owns."
Karen Sudol, "Tenafly Schools Hold Line on Tax Hike: $534,000 From State Helps Avoid Staff Cuts," in The Record, March 21, 2011, at p. L-5.
More Taxes? "Bend over and say 'thank you!' ..." New Jersey taxpayers. Right, Diana? Who else did you "allow" to have sex with Marilyn Straus, Diana? Debbie Poritz? How many other women -- or men -- have you made available in an impaired condition for sexual violation by others, Diana? ("Terry Tuchin, Diana Lisa Riccioli, and New Jersey's Agency of Torture.")
"Under the proposed spending plan for 2011-12, a taxpayer with a home assessed at the borough's $783,900 average would see a $355 increase, said Louis Mondello. ..."
What's a little more money here and there? That's nothing. Badda-bing, badda-boom.
