Corruption in New Jersey's Teachers' Union.

November 5, 2010 at 10:52 A.M. Spacing was affected immediately after this essay was posted. I have made the necessary correction.

November 5, 2010 at 9:42 A.M. Call from "800 Service" at 877-857-9755. "Errors" have been inserted in a number of these copyright protected writings in violation of the U.S. Constitution. I will try to make all necessary corrections from several computers.

November 5, 2010 at 7:45 A.M. As I came to write this morning, I was shocked to discover that my computer had been turned off during the night. I cannot imagine what could have happened. Given the large number of occasions over the the past few days when this shutting off of my computer has taken place one might almost suspect foul play. ("New Jersey's Politically Connected Lawyers on the Tit" and "Corrupt Law Firms, Senator Bob, and New Jersey Ethics.")

No doubt federal authorities are unable to prevent or control this criminality. Psychological torture and computer crime are weapons in America's political culture in the era of dirty tricks and an old feature of New Jersey's mafia-saturated politics. The whole world is watching, Mr. Obama. ("Does Senator Menendez Have Mafia Friends?")

A point that I continue to make to observers and readers of these blogs is that censorship will never be satisfied with a single victim. These illegal tactics aimed at controlling dissent will be used against other Internet writers and independent journalists, including persons who are conservatives or Republicans. Censorship of any one person threatens the Constitutional rights of all Americans. ("Law and Ethics in the Soprano State" and "New Jersey is Lucky Luciano's Havana.")

Adam Goldman & Adam Schrek, "U.S. Admits Close Call: One Bomb Nearly Missed, Another Flew on 2 Jets," in The Record, November 1, 2010, at p. A-1. (Obviously, this was a probe and terrorists must be happy about what they have seen.)
Kathleen Lynn, "Stuck With No Exit: Homeowners Can't Afford to Stay -- Or Go," in The Record, November 1, 2010, at p. A-1. (Can't sell your house in New Jersey and can't pay the taxes.)

Aron Heller, "Only 2 Survivors Left From Nazi Death Camp[,] Treblinka," in The Record, November 1, 2010, at p. A-11. (Nazis tried to erase evidence of Treblinka, as N.J. with its victims of psychological torture and increasingly desperate effort at obfuscation or concealment, seeks to cover-up atrocities committed against me.)
Kibret Markos, "Making Legal History, and a Few Enemies ACLU Marks a Half Century of Shaping State's Approach to Rights, Equality," in The Record, November 1, 2010, at p. L-7. (ACLU in New Jersey appears to be another coopted political entity.)
"No Uniforms Badge: Scouts May Dump Passaic for China," (Editorial) in The Record, November 1, 2010, at p. L-1. (Girlscouts are leaving N.J. and taking their business to China. Care for a cookie?)

Josh Margolin & Mike Frassinelli, "Christie, Still Citing Costs, to Kill Rail Tunnel Again," in The Star Ledger, October 27, 2010, at p. 1. ($15 to $20 BILLION real cost of tunnel could put $4 billion of your tax money in the hands of organized crime in New Jersey.)
Mary Ann Spoto, "Christie Takes Another Jab at Legislators During South Brunswick Town Hall Meeting," in The Star Ledger, October 27, 2010, at p. 33. (Christie visits mob country.)

" ... the New Jersey Education Association, the state's largest teachers' union, could care less about students first and see their jobs as lifetime positions, as its critics claim."

" ... a series of undercover videos produced by 'Gonzo Journalist' James O'Keefe has [created] a statewide debate that again throws the embattled union into an unflattering spotlight."

I am not a Republican. I probably disagree with a great deal which Mr. O'Keefe believes to be true. However, I am sure that Mr. O'Keefe is a journalist and that his work is protected under the First Amendment.

Investigative and muckraking journalism is necessary in New Jersey where the big newspapers and television stations (with some exceptions) are too close to the power-structure. We need an independent media in America, not a journalistic profession that divides neatly along party lines.

People in N.J. living "on the tit" are basically stealing the taxpayers' money. ("New Jersey is $46 BILLION 'Short' in Pension Funds.")

"The tapes, which purport to show union members cursing, discussing voter fraud" -- the union is connected to N.J.'s Democrat-machine -- "and laughing about how hard it is to fire tenured teachers, were dismissed by the NJEA as a 'complete fabrication.' [This is a videotape!] Much of the footage for 'Teachers Union Gone Wild' was shot at a bar [many of these officials are said to be alcoholics] at the East Brunswick Hilton, during a union leadership conference in August." ("Da Jersey Code" and "New Jersey is the Home of the Living Dead.")

The membership of this union is paying for the so-called "leadership's" alleged "good times." Mazeltov.

"NJEA spokesperson Steve Wollmer [former AOL judge and, reputedly, a "dim bulb,"] said the union and its attorneys are discussing their options regarding possible legal action, calling the videos 'a calculated attack on the organization and its members.' ... "

Steve gets a "D+" and a do-over.

Commenting on the tainted politics and corruption of tenure, Alissa Ploshnick (she changed it from "Jessica Cohen," allegedly, because she thought her original name was too Jewish) memorably explained: " ... once you get that third year, it's like 'Schwing.' ... " Oy vey, Alissa!

The video of this "apolitical" union "includes video of teachers chanting, 'Let's have a whiskey and get a little misty. Join me now and slander Christie.' ..."

Catchy tune! "Slander" being the operative word. Those teachers really know how to party on your dime.

Meanwhile, Christie has warned that the state's pension fund could be bankrupt in ten years (or less) if reforms are not made immediately. Teachers may lose tenure. Other reforms to control abuses may be essential. The gravy train may not be coming next year, Alissa.

"'Schwing,'" indeed. We're all going to be "schwinging" our way to China.
